Quality Assurance

All of our services are supported by a national and service specific training team. A mandatory and specialist training matrix is delivered annually in a rolling programme. This is subject to our own internal regulatory and compliance inspectorate review and also provided to external Commissioning Authorities and Regulators to evidence standards.

The organisation has a strong external management network of qualified and experienced middle managers in regular contact with project sites and leads. We operate a robust and supportive routine system of supervision and review.  The Company also has extensive Policies and Procedures covering all aspects of our services and we monitor  the delivery of supervision and training for front line staff.

We have our own in house National Training Centre plus regionally based trainers, assessors and accredited external training partners.

The organisation operates a suite of routine reports dealing with all significant issues. We also have service specific and corporate audits of Quality and Health & Safety. 

The Vice Chairman of the Company visits all services throughout the year in a rolling programme of unannounced visits. He also receives regular reports from both operations and the internal compliance team: these are reported to the Board each month.

Finally, we are working with some key partners particularly in the area of ABI and Learning Disability to extend our skill base and to contribute to research. Our partners include the research charity RESEC and several UK Universities, including Oxford with which we have close ties.
